  1. Environmental Notice Board. The environmental notice board located in Alice Road near the Caravan Park has been replaced with two notice boards that offer better visibility to the public.  The previous notice board from Alice Road, along with the environmental board from Dawn Street, has been relocated to Potgieter Street.

  1. Access to the Beaches and Aesthetics. The idea of identifying key areas of importance and forming groups of interested community members to focus on these areas, was recently revisited.  Discussions highlighted the significance of general beach access and public spaces, including Nautilus Beach, the Cannons, Beach Road and the Play Park at the Community Hall.

Residents who are interested in participating, to contact Adéle du Plessis on 0823918025 for more information.

      • Pensioners Rebate.
    • The Chairperson attended a Ndlambe Ratepayers Forum (NRF) meeting with Municipal Finance Officials on the 2nd of May 2024. During the meeting, a consultant contracted by the Ndlambe Municipality presented the outcomes of an in-depth study regarding financial revenue and expenses related to electricity, water and sanitation services rendered.  The same presentation will be delivered during the Mayoral Imbizos at various venues throughout the Ndlambe Municipal area of responsibility.  Among other findings, the presentation revealed that consumers will need to pay more for services to ensure sustainable service delivery due to services and infrastructure not properly maintained and or replaced.  The impact on areas where Eskom supplies electricity directly to customers will be less significant.  It was recommended that increased tariffs be communicated with residents and implemented over three years.
