- Recycling. The CRRA understands the importance of recycling and, as a result, has entered into an undertaking and agreement with the owners of the recycling business at Riversbend (Boesmansriviermond) to support recycling in Cannon Rocks. Bags with recyclable content can be dropped off at the recycling trailer at the Community Hall in Cannon Rocks from 08:30 to 15:00 on Mondays. Please do not leave recyclable items at the Community Hall when the recycling vehicle is not present. Any plastic bag or cardboard box may be used.
- Tennis Court. Two years ago the Cannon Rocks Tennis Club upgraded the surfaces of the tennis courts. This year new fences had to be erected. With much proud, the club members encourage the community members to come and see how beautiful the courts and surroundings are looking.
- Communication. The CRRA distributed the Etiquette Document, ( see www.cannonrocks.com under NEWS) donned festive attire and handed out Easter Eggs to individuals entering and exiting the village during the Easter weekend. The community embraced this playful approach to the Etiquette Document and feedback received was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage with committee members in such a delightful manner. The committee also agreed to explore further innovative ideas for future community engagements.
