- Annual General Meeting.
Please remember the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 19th December 2024, at 16:00 in the Cannon Rocks Community Hall. Both members and non-members interested in joining are encouraged to attend. Please note that the agenda allows for additional items that members would like addressed. Kindly mark this date on your calendar.
- Communication with Municipal Workers.
Residents are kindly requested to avoid contacting municipal workers, including the local municipal supervisor, directly for tasks such as garden or domestic refuse removal, placement or relocation of traffic signs, or giving other instructions. Doing so could cause confusion and may lead to complications for the workers, including potential disciplinary action. Instead, please contact one of the committee’s Portfolio Holders for assistance.

- Municipal Traffic Services.
Great news – Since the appointment of a new Municipal Traffic Chief and the re-opening of the Municipal Traffic Building, there has been a remarkable improvement in client service. It appears the Traffic Department is now running smoothly in Port Alfred. Congratulations to the administrative team for their hard work and dedication.
- Domestic Refuse Collection.
Please note that domestic refuse will be collected on Tuesdays and Fridays during the festive period, instead of the usual Monday collection. Be sure to have your bins out on the correct days.
