After Dealing with a cracked rib cartiladge at the end of the South Hemisphere Summer, and then having a freak accident where the fin of my wave board slashed into my ankle, I’m finally getting back on top of it. Not being a spring chicken means that it takes a little longer for the healing to take place. I did do a fair amount of cross training, But there is nothing like Kiting to be kiting fit.
This year was also marked by my spending the winter in the south Hemisphere… (I normally travel to the North to break up the winter. Not this year.
The release of my New Album  ( Yes I make music for a living) and some private commitments made me sit tight and face the winter.
And so some winter sessions on the East coast of South Africa.
We do get a lot of cross off, to Off shore days during Winter. A year ago after some heavy rain a small dam formed in some farm fields and we’ve since discovered that it can work on those days. We had another memorable session on there at the beginning of winter.
Downside is that the water is pretty cold and muddy. And the wind tends to be on the gusty side.
Here some pics from that session at the dam.
