LORDS OF TRAM Delivers!

Another edition done with more moderate winds than the 2025 edition which was off the charts.
Check out this documentary on Lords of Tram 2025 which will remain as one of the most extreme kite contest to have taken place.

2026 was a relatively smooth edition with some light injuries and a few problems with the judging system which I will endeavour to iron out next year.

Lacuna testing and team work

The beginning of 2025 saw a effervescente activity in the lacuna team with testing and development high on the list of priorities, followed by media production and promotion.

Lacuna is a small brand, but with a combined experience of Dave and Sue in the kiteboarding industry and their incredible enthusiasm with mine on top, it’s a machine that never stops!
There are always ideas and solutions being thrown about for every aspect of kiteboarding.

What is coming...

In the pipeline is the big air collection (Alpha) which will be followed by the release of the wave kite (Sigma)

We don’t believe in release dates at Lacuna, simply because Lacuna only releases new equipment when it is ready and has been tested thoroughly!

It involves countless hours on the beach trying bridles and adjusting the new prototype design to have that incremental improvement in the design.

Testing new material is also time consuming as the hours on the water need to be added up.

Lords of Tram 2024 Preparation

The year is flying and I am back in France with just one week to go to the beginning of the window period of Lords of Tram 2024, the first stop of the GKA big air world tour.

Not only Race Director

Like in the last two editions of the contest, I will be Race director.
This year, however, I am more invested as I have joined Tristan Hattu and Etienne De Saunhac as one of the organisers of the event. Hence my presence a couple of weeks before.

It has been an intense 3 months of preparations behind the scenes.

The event is once again sponsored by the city of Barcares, in collaboration with Duotone, Ion and Aneo, and it looks set to be the biggest and best yet!

With all 3 organisers passionate about kiteboarding, and sharing a vision for the sport, we hope to grow the event and set ourselves up for further development in the sport.
